This 2,500-square-foot, three-bedroom home needed the TOM touch to help reflect the sophisticated New England look the homeowners were craving. The homeowners wanted a more functional floor plan and a cohesive design scheme that would unify their collection of art and furniture.

We started by reworking the layout for better flow and improved sightlines, adding elements like board-and-batten walls, a salvaged mantelpiece and textural grasscloth wallpaper. New windows brought more light to the space and provided stunning views of Long Island Sound. The blend of old and new, including weathered wood, brass accents, and the homeowners’ treasured pieces, created a casual yet sophisticated vibe.

The six-month renovation exceeded expectations, creating a home that reflects both the neighbourhood’s coastal charm and this couple’s casual seaside lifestyle.
