INITIAL DISCOVERY
This is the opportunity to get to know each other and figure out if we have good design chemistry. We will listen and ask questions, delving deeper into your vision, style, functionality requirements, and any specific ideas. We’ll visit the space to assess its size, layout, architectural features, and any potential challenges or opportunities.
PROPOSAL
Once we’ve done our initial research and site visit, it’s time for a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, project timeline and estimated costs. This is when we set clear expectations and make sure that everyone understands the parameters of the project.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
When contracts are signed, we start to fill in the design details. We brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas, creating mood boards, sketches and a floor plan to help visualize the design concept. We consider factors such as functionality, aesthetics, sustainability and ergonomics. Everything is refined according to your feedback.
EXECUTION
After you have approved the final design plan, everything is communicated to contractors and suppliers. If any questions come up, we discuss with you and make sure there are no surprises. As the construction process unfolds, we help ensure that there are no breakdowns in communication, and that the transition between designer and contractor is seamless.
INSTALLATION
As the project progresses, we oversee every detail to ensure that all aspects of the design align with the approved plans and specifications. We keep track of orders and deliveries to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to resolve any delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Once all the architectural elements are complete and the furniture is placed, we style the space to make sure it perfectly reflects your personality. We check that everything matches the design plan and that you’re happy with the finished product. As a final step, we schedule regular check-ins to discuss any concerns, changes or future opportunities to work together.
