Tommy’s contagious enthusiasm and fun-loving approach to decorating have made him a household name in the world of design. A career spanning more than 25 years has left no stone unturned in getting the message of practical and beautiful design to his many followers through television, print media, social media and speaking engagements. Named House & Home’s 2025 Designer of the Year, Tommy is known for his masterful mix of fine art, vintage, antique and modern furnishings, all pulled together with a colour sense that’s second to none.

In January of 2020, along with long-time collaborators Lindsay Mens and Kate Stuart, Tommy established The TOM Design Collective, a full-service design group focusing on residential projects in Canada, the U.S. and abroad.
